Black Pepper
Beneficial for digestion, rich in antioxidants and antibacterial properties, helps remove gases, effective for rheumatism and arthritis along with relief from cramps and spasms. Black pepper has a pungent, crisp aroma that is comforting and energizing. When used topically it can help soothe muscle discomfort.
Eucalyptus
A strong woody and sweet smell which stimulates the immune system, helps with exhaustion and mental sluggishness by encouraging blood flow to the brain.
Frankincense

Lavender
Lavender is associated with feelings of contentment, improved cognitive performance (some measures) and mood as well, and has also shown other mild sedative and calming effects. It's also been shown to reduce cortisol levels and promote deep sleep in men and women. This can be a great choice for anyone trying to relax for sleep or feel more calm and relaxed during the day.
Lemon
A citrus scent that is known to revitalize and uplift. It has also been known to restore luster to dull skin.
Lime
Lime is full of antioxidants and other beneficial nutrients. It can protect the skin from infections and help with healing. Lime is a tonic with medicinal properties which can help to reduce pain in the muscles and joints.
Myrrh
Restorative. Effects hypothalamus and pituitary which both effect emotions. Used by Ancient Egyptians for embalming. Currently still in use to reduce wrinkles and keep a youthful complexion because of its ability to stimulate cellular renewal.
Patchouli
Contains a sweet and rich aroma which includes tonic properties containing benefits for wrinkled chapped skin along with help that is needed to ease nausea. The calming scent helps to ground oneself.
Peppermint
Peppermint aromatherapy has been found to increase memory and alertness, which can provide a great pick-me-up for too-tired, too-busy people, stressed students, and overworked individuals. But everyone, incuding modern scientists, agree that it is a strong mental and physical stimulant that can help one concentrate and stay awake. Sandalwood
Sandalwood essential oil is distilled from the roots and heartwood of trees that take 50 to 80 years to reach full maturity. The scent, called chandana, is used in aromatherapy to induce a calm and meditative state. The lasting fragrance only improves with age. According to mythology, sandalwood originally grew only in Heaven's gardens. Temple gates and religious statues are carved from the wood because of this spiritual association and the exquisite scent. Sandalwood has an age-old reputation as an aphrodisiac, and in fact, its fragrance is similar to the human pheromone, alpha androsterole. The scent of sandalwood has a soft, warm, woody and balsamic fragrance. Therapeutic properties of sandalwood include: antidepressent, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, astringent, sedative and helps urinary issues.
Spearmint
Spearmint is known for its pain-relieving properties. The oil is especially beneficial for aching muscles and pain associated with menstruation. Spearmint may also help inflammation. Tangerine
